🇨🇦 What a fantastic Canada Day celebration we had at St. Angela Merici Residence!
This was our second year celebrating Canada Day with a classic car show in our parking lot, and it was such a wonderful afternoon for our residents, families, staff, and guests.
A huge thank you to the Shifters and Mustang car clubs for bringing such beautiful classic cars for everyone to enjoy. Thank you as well to the Roving Performers for adding so much fun and energy to the day, and to Murtadha Bukoye for capturing these special moments through photos.
We enjoyed ice cream, lemonade, Canadian music by Canadian artists, and of course, singing O Canada together. 🇨🇦
A very special thank you to our staff for all the extra work that went into making the day a success — from setting up, serving ice cream and lemonade, supporting residents outside, and making sure everyone was comfortable and cared for throughout the afternoon.
It was especially heartwarming to see so many family members come out to celebrate alongside our residents. Days like this mean so much, and we are grateful to everyone who helped make it such a memorable celebration.

Today we celebrated our May birthdays with a very special visit from Talbot Acres Petting Zoo!
Our residents had such a lovely time meeting and visiting with the animals. There were lots of smiles, laughs, and sweet moments as everyone enjoyed this fun and memorable afternoon.
A big thank you to Talbot Acres for helping make our May birthday party extra special.

These visits mean so much to our seniors. The conversations, laughter, activities, and time spent together bring so much joy into our home. There is something very special about seeing different generations connect, learn from each other, and simply enjoy being together.

Today our recreation coordinator, Julianne, took our residents outside to enjoy some fresh air and blow bubbles together.
